Meet Dr. Amar Patel

Dr. Amar Patel is passionate about delivering dentistry that blends clinical excellence with genuine connection. A proud graduate of Clemson University, he earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from the Medical University of South Carolina. He is currently completing an advanced fellowship in dental implantology through the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Maxicourse. Dr. Patel has also pursued extensive training in endodontics, oral surgery, and full-mouth reconstruction through various continuing education programs.

His journey into dentistry began during his time as a dental assistant in Hilton Head Island, SC, where he worked alongside retired dentists serving underserved communities. That early experience—combining hands-on care with heartfelt human connection—inspired his commitment to building a career that puts patients first.

Known for his approachable and compassionate style, Dr. Patel understands that visiting the dentist can be intimidating for many. His goal is to make every patient feel at ease—whether through a calming explanation, a shared laugh, or simply listening with intention. He values creating long-term relationships and treating every patient like family.

Outside of the office, Dr. Patel is an avid traveler who loves exploring new countries and tasting authentic cuisine. He’s also a proud uncle, frequent FaceTimer to his two young nephews, college football enthusiast, and someone who treasures time spent with friends and family.
